If you are visiting the Volcanic Plateau, Mt Ruapehu, Tongariro National Park or Whanganui National Park, Ohakune has everything you could need, with two National Parks on our doorstep and plenty of adventure activities for the whole family.
Canoe Safaris Lodge is located in a quiet street 2 minutes walk from the town centre and Ohakune’s fine restaurants, bars and cafes, supermarket, 3 ski hires, mountain bike hire, climbing wall and movie theatre. We are 18km from the base of the Turoa Ski Resort.

The lodge features secure, modern quiet & warm studio units (sleep 1-5 people). A door can be opened between units to connect them together for family groups. All units have kitchens, en-suite bathrooms, Sky TV, and there is secure off-street parking.
We have a new outdoor spa pool, and a drying room available in the winter. The perfect relaxation after a day's skiing before you settle down in our comfortable Ohakune Accommodation.
